The Country House at MCMF

Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of nature on acres of woodlands. This peaceful getaway is perfect for large family gatherings and relaxing weekend retreats. Enjoy the serenity of surrounding creeks and wildlife from one of the rocking chairs lining the 40 foot porch.

~ WHAT GUESTS LOVE ~

We want you to be able to relax on your vacation, so we've furnished this home with everything you might need during your stay! The surrounding forest, creeks, and ponds allow you to have a little piece of the countryside all to yourself. Explore nature around the property, or lean back in a rocking chair and listen to the birds. Complimentary items can be found throughout the house, with essentials stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms (see below for more details). Spend time together with your party enjoying one of the many DVD's or board games in the living rooms.

~ KITCHEN~

A full set of pots and pans, as well as glass cookware are provided. You'll find complimentary coffee, creamer, condiments, and a full spice cabinet for cooking meals. This is a full kitchen with a refrigerator, freezer, oven, stove, microwave, and dishwasher.

~ DINING ~

There are two dining locations, a dining room seating up to 8 people, and another high top table seating 4. For additional seating, we've provided 2 stools at the kitchen bar. Placemats are available in the cabinets of the dining room, and all dishware can be found in the kitchen.

~ LIVING ROOMS ~

The larger living room currently seats up to 6 people and has a 65 inch HD TV with Hulu. There is also a DVD player, plenty of DVD's, and a sound bar with subwoofer. The smaller living room, furnished with a couch and high top table, has a 43 inch HD TV with Hulu.

~ BATHROOMS ~

There is one half bath on the ground floor and two full bathrooms upstairs. One is attached to the master bedroom. The other has a tub/shower combination. Towels and toilet paper are provided.

~ BEDROOMS ~

All bedrooms are on the second story, up a single flight of stairs. The master bedroom has a queen bed and looks out into the forest. The second bedroom has a queen bed and also looks out into the forest. The third bedroom has a queen bed, and attached loft with 1 queen, 1 full, and a twin bed. All linens are provided.

~ OUTDOOR SPACES ~

The highlight of this home is the private front porch. Facing the surrounding woods and creeks, it's the prefect way to start your day or end your night. It stays mostly shaded during the day and has rocking chairs for lounging. The back yard is fenced and great for pets.

~ PARKING ~

There is a large parking pad, as well as a two car garage, available for your parties vehicles. If you need additional parking, or parking for a longer rig, we have space available nearby. Please make sure to include this ask in your rental inquiry.

~ OTHER AMENITIES ~

The laundry room has a full washer and dryer with complimentary detergents. The house has central AC and heat. We are pet friendly.

This is a rural property surrounded by dense forest. As such the house is equipped with satellite internet and a cell signal booster to give guests the best service possible for our area. We cannot control the weather (unfortunately), and as such there is always a possibility of connectivity interruptions. We hope you choose this property for it's surrounding beauty and take the chance to disconnect anyway. The previous owner of the home was a smoker and, although we have mitigated most of the smell, a very faint odor is present in some areas of the house.
